The Role
Telum is seeking Intelligence Discipline Lead (IDL) SMEs to provide senior-level technical and operational leadership in targeting analysis and counter-intelligence operations in support of USSOCOM. IDL SMEs will lead analytic efforts, synchronize multi-INT products, integrate data across disciplines, and advise senior staff on priorities and courses of action that directly support mission objectives. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines subject-matter mastery, training capability, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to deliver decision-quality products in high-tempo and sensitive environments.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee analytical production across a designated intelligence discipline (e.g., All-Source, HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, CI), ensuring technical rigor and timeliness.

Drive target development and F3EAD-aligned analysis; integrate multi-INT inputs into cohesive targeting and CI products.

Develop, prioritize, and synchronize intelligence requirements and deliverables with USSOCOM components and interagency partners.

Produce and present finished intelligence, assessments, and COAs to senior leadership and customers.

Mentor, train, and quality-control the work of subordinate analysts; establish and maintain programs of instruction and analytic standards.

Conduct risk/impact assessments and recommend procedural changes to improve mission outcomes and reduce operational risk.

Represent Telum and supported staffs in coordinating cross-organizational analytic efforts and collection strategies.
Required Qualifications
-
8+ years performing analytical intelligence operations within an Intelligence Task Force, National Intelligence Support Team, NMJIC, Combatant Command, or equivalent operational community.

5+ years of operational analysis experience in the analyst’s core discipline.

2+ years of managerial/supervisory experience supporting special operations (preferred). Combat overseas tours supporting SMU or SOF in an analysis role are highly desired.

Advanced expertise in the F3EAD targeting methodology and demonstrated ability to lead F3EAD-driven analytic efforts.

Proficient in Intelligence Cycle, HVI/targeting, Social Network Analysis, Patterns-of-Life, and one or more of: Human Factors, Human Terrain, SIGINT targeting, or convergence analysis.

Deep familiarity with analytical doctrine, tradecraft, systems, policies, and legal/regulatory frameworks relevant to intelligence and counter-intelligence operations.

Proven skill applying tradecraft and analytic tools to collect, analyze, fuse, and produce complex targeting and CI products.

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required at time of application.
Desired Skills

Recent USSOCOM/SOF or joint/interagency experience.

Demonstrated success interfacing with senior military and civilian leadership (O-6/GS-15+).

Experience building training curricula, POIs, and competency frameworks for analytic teams.

Familiarity with collection management processes and multi-INT integration.

Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
